About Robert Berman

Robert is Co-Founder and Principal at Nara Realty Advisors, where he specializes in multifamily investment sales across Chicago’s South and West Sides. With over $220 million in closed transactions, he is recognized for his ability to navigate complex negotiations, align competing interests, and consistently deliver strong outcomes for both private owners and institutional investors.

Prior to founding Nara Realty Advisors, Robert served as a Principal at Monarch Realty Partners and previously held a Managing Director role at another Chicago-based firm, where he emerged as one of the top-performing multifamily brokers in the city. Throughout his career, he has been directly involved in the sale of more than 3,100 apartment units alongside partner Michael Anguiano.

Clients engage Robert for his disciplined approach to underwriting, deep understanding of Chicago’s neighborhood-level fundamentals, and ability to effectively position and market assets to qualified buyers. His insights into market cycles, investor demand, and property operations allow him to guide clients through every stage of the transaction process with clarity and confidence.

Robert is an active member of the Urban Land Institute. Outside of real estate, he enjoys playing hockey.
